However, in this summer, and in this night, there shall be something different in Qingdao! It will be a carnival for tens of thousands of runners, it’s a good news for the many night owls— China mainland's first marathon race at night is coming!

Singapore night"Sundown international marathon", as the present most famous night marathon in Asia, is founded in2008. Starting at midnight is its biggest characteristic, it has been nominated twice as"the most creative" award in international famous sports awards and has become one of the runners' favorite  creative races.

The marathon race in mainland China officially and jointly held by Singapore Sundown Marathon Organizing Committee (Sundown) and Simul Culture Sport Co.,Ltd (SIMUL) is the first night race in mainland, and also the first marathon race after Qingdao recovered to hold full marathon race since the past more than ten years.

The marathon race has participants of20000, it includes three parts, namely full marathon (42.195KM), half marathon (21.0975 KM) and experience marathon only for entertainment (5KM).

The race starts and ends at the main venue of Qingdao West Coast International Beer Festival, it’s held right during the festival. Sunshine and beach in the daytime, beer carnival at night, what a happy thing! 

Starting from the beer city, run along the coast all the way to the west, you’ll pass many beautiful buildings on the west coast, the so-called west coast is more of Qingdao characteristic. You'll be all the way attracted by the beautiful scenery and dazzling lights and want to stop for them, I'm so worried that your results will be affected then.

What's more, the road for sprint is the legendary avenue of lights, which is Asia's largest light SHOW with the total length of237 meters, under the34 large five-star shape neon lamps are two rows searchlights that can constantly turn around and change color along with the beat of the music, the beams interlace into a net of lights in the air.

After the race, we’ll gather on Asia’s most beautiful beach— The golden sand beach. 

Clear water mingle with flat beach, blue sea merge with clear sky, sands fine as flour and golden as gold, that’s all what make it the“golden sand beach”. This beach has the finest sands, it’s the largest and most beautiful in China.

If I tell you that on the beach, there are parties of beer, movie, barbecue, free chat and maybe fireworks, will you be excited to jump up?
